Tutorial Transfer Between Devices

If both devices have an SD card slot then you just need to make sure that's where Vaulty is saving your vault and move the SD card to the new device.

Move Vault to SD Card

1. Open Vaulty
2. Tap Settings in the Menu
3. Tap "Media & View"
4. Tap "Vault Location"
5. Select your SD card and wait for the vault to move

Move SD Card

1. Turn off the old device
2. Remove the SD card from the old device
3. Place the SD card in your new device
4. Turn your new device on
5. Install Vaulty on your new device
6. Verify that your files were successfully transfered and imported

If this doesn't work for you then try the instructions under "Without SD Card."

If at least one of the devices doesn't have an SD card then you'll have to copy your vault to the new device using a computer.

Vaulty stores hidden media on the device in a folder called Vaulty in the DCIM folder.

1. Connect the old device to a computer
2. Mount storage if needed
3. Copy Vaulty folder from DCIM
4. Connect new device and mount storage if needed
5. Copy Vaulty folder to new device
6. Install Vaulty on new device
7. Run a scan if files don't show up immediately
